Fun in Miami continues!!

Yet another fun filled weekend. On Friday evening, right from office, I went out with friends to chipotle Mexican grill and had amazing Mexican food. It was the best food ever since i have left India. Completely enjoyed it, the food just hit the right string of spice. The variety was amazing, you can have Burritos, Tacos and so many other variations wrapped in tortillas.

On Saturday i went to a friend's house for dinner. He is Spanish and a very lively person. His wife made amazing dinner and i still miss those delicious desserts that i had after dinner. Apart from dinner, we spent some amazing time playing around with his music instruments. He is an excellent guitarist and plays drum too and don't know what else. I played almost everything that i laid my hands on. It was yet another amazing experience.

On Sunday, I went out with another friend of mine and his wife to CORAL CASTEL, which was a masterpiece by Edward Leedskalnin who made this castle in 20 years single headedly for love of his life, Agnes Scuffs. The place leaves a lasting impression and makes us feel the power of love. We were able to see various creations of his right from Sun dial, Polaris telescope, Cooker, Moon Fountain and other living necessities like Bed, table chairs. It was amazing to see how coral which gives a rough look, felt as soothing as velvet furniture. The cold breeze and amazing environment makes you feel lost in heaven. After appreciating the beauty of castle we tucked in a restaurant and had supper, the weekend came to an end after a long drive back home to the apartment.

Well this was not the end as the night life had its flavour to add to the weekend. Had some soft drinks and shook around with music to wrap up the weekend.

Life does take you places..MiAmi FoR nOw!!

Life takes you places. In my journey of life, i have happened to come to miami. Miami, first thing that comes to your mind is beaches. well, it been 3 days already but i haven't been able to get to a beach due to work. But i have planned to go see KEY WEST during weekend. I am all excited about it.

As of now, i really like the place. It's soo clean and soo well organised. Every place is divided in streets and avenues. Its really easy to get to a place even if your new to this place. Weather is awesome. Even when its scorching sunny, if you stand in shadow you can feel the cold breeze. Life is very casual. What has really surprised me here is the language, it wiered as majority speaks spanish instead of English. You go to any shop and the person tends to start the conversation in spanish..thats has already happened twice with me. Though its not an issue as everybody knows english. Food is also not that much a problem. Since you can find major multinational franchisee, its not difficult to find a place to tuck in and have something. Even if you are staying in apartments like i am, you will make good use of frozen food and will not miss tasty 'Aaloo ka parathas'.

Life just looks pretty smooth here, though the only thing which bothers you is friends and family back home. But its really nice to find oneself in a place like this as far as it's not for very long. I am loving every moment as of now.
