Dream - Enigmatic & Bizarre part of Our Lives that may have meanings to it.

Waking up to alarm every day would have been so boring, had it not been for dreams. I wounder at times how we can make our imaginations unwillingly and unknowingly reach points that it really seems beyond science. It is difficult to explain or comprehend a dream though if taken a closer look, they do tend to pave path to certain analogies that are not as random as the contents of the dream itself.

I have happened to lay hand on Sigmund Freud's work on Dreams and it did unraveled few puzzles that had long been haunting me. The presence of external and internal stimuli on our dreams can actually shape the very origin of the world that we see while sleeping. There have been bunch of experiments carried out to show how a little light, sound or touch can get magnified and translate into a whole new set of scenarios resulting in what we call dream. For example, if we happen to move a pillow over our head while sleeping, it may translate into dreaming of carrying something heavy on our head or a small creaking of door opening into a shrill of chaos and horror. It probably depends on our state of mind of how the events get translated. And of course, that can't always be the case.

The much anticipated belief of antiquity that there is a divine intervention or the possibility of intended prophecy  seems a myth to me.It might have some relevance but i beg to differ. There has to be some scientific explanation to every chemical or sensory process that goes on in our body, we are just not technologically advanced enough to decipher the same.

The books also talks about dreams having access to memories that we don't seem to posses while being in awake state. We might see names and people in dream those we must have come across sometime in past and have no knowledge in awake state. However, the picture just appear so palpable in our dreams that we can't just ignore and in quest to find the source, end up unraveling the mysteries of dream .
