Evergaldes National Park, Miami !!

An old friend from New Delhi and his girl friend were here in Miami for a weekend. It turned out to be great that I got to meet them and we decided to go visit Everglades National Park, which turned out to be exotic bird life experience.

Everglades National Park was established in 1947 and is the only subtropical preserve in North America. It has both temperate and tropical plant variety.The park is known for its natural beauty, presence of alligators & crocodiles, different variety of snakes and rich bird life. It has verious boat tours which takes you far in the ocean and guide telling you old stories and funny incedents linked with the place.

Everglades National Park has been designated :

• An International Biosphere Reserve
• A Wetland of International Importance.

Bizarre Fact about Everglades National Park :

It is the only place in the world where alligators and crocodiles exist side by side.
