Malls wanting people not to come in !!!!

It was strange to see a night before new year's eve, on 30th dec, when malls where stuffed with people like a burritos with beans and vegetables. I happened to visit a nearby mall to buy a dress for new year and was taken aback to see the crowd. What made it all the more hillarious was when the mall made an announcement asking people to leave and stopped more entries in the mall quite before the usual closing time. Visiting mall, not to buy things, but to stroll around has become quite cutomary now. People prefer to tuck in a fast food restraunts in a mall rather than to go sit in a stand alone restraunt. I know of some people, who visit mall just to spend some cozy time in a conditioned environment when its too cold or too hot outside. Whatever being the reason, but during holidays, people in metro cities have become accustomed to turn up in malls and hang around.
